Caramel Choco Pecan Squares
For this receipe you will need:
a 13X9 ungreased
pan
For the bottom base you need:
2 Cups of flour
1 cup of brown sugar
1/2 Cup butter or margarine(softened)
1 Cup of pecan halves
For the top layer you
need:
2/3 Cup of butter or margarine
1/2 Cup of brown sugar
1 Cup of chocolate
chips
Combine all the base ingredients
except the pecans and mix well.
Pour
and press into the bottom of
the pan and then layer the pecans on top.
Pour the remaining butter/margarine
and brown sugar into a pan and
stir over medium heat until it
comes to a boil for approximately
one minute. Pour over base layer.
Bake for
around 18 minutes or caramel
bubbles. After removing from oven
sprinkle the chocolate chips. Once
they have started to melt,
swirl with a knife.
